D’Andria is a Senior Export Compliance Officer supporting Chevron U.S.A’s global Information Technology Company. Before joining Chevron, D’Andria worked with Daystar Television Network producing inspirational television programs, engaging the public to increase donor-base, while managing the Business Finance Department. D’Andria graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Accountancy & Taxation and is also a 5-year board member for The Women’s Global Leadership initiative.
Von is the Head of Finance & Talent at Bridgeway Capital Management where he oversees all aspects of human resources, professional development, finance, accounting, facilities, and administration. Von also serves as the Treasurer of the Bridgeway Foundation. Von earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Accounting from Southern University. In addition to supporting his alma maters, he devotes time to a wide range of professional and nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Compton-Joseph, is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologists reared in Sugar Land, Texas and is an honor graduate of Baylor University. She also graduated from the University of Texas Houston Medical School and completed a four-year residency with the Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. C J, as she is affectionately called by her staff and colleagues, has full privileges at Sugar Land Methodist, Memorial Herman Sugar Land, and St Luke Sugar Land Hospitals. She and her husband live in Sugar Land, Texas.
Mira is a business manager for shipping with Chevron. She also owns and manages a full-service travel agency-Creative Travel. She enjoys family, supporting others and movie marathons in her spare time.
Alicia is a devoted stay at home mom of two, has served on several non-profit boards over the years as well as serving as a PTO board member at both Sienna Crossing Elementary and Baines Middle School and is currently the Treasurer and Fall Product Coordinator for Girl Scout 28302. When she is not volunteering, she enjoys spending time with family and friends including attending her children's sporting events.
Dr. Davenport is an attorney currently teaching Business Law, International Business Law, Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship courses for Houston Community College. She is currently the Chair for the Business Administration program. She has been working on international initiatives in education for the past 10 years. She is a fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar where she participated in ISP 48- Colleges and Universities as Sites of Global Citizenship in Salzburg, Austria. She also participated in the Oxford Round Table, presenting a paper on "Business Ethics in a Global Economy in Oxford, England. She is a People to People ambassador and participated as an International delegate for Law and Legal Systems delegation to Egypt. She traveled to Egypt with a group of
American lawyers to study Islamic law and culture. She practices law
in the areas of business law, transactional work, and civil matters.
Tricia is an advanced practice nurse with 24 years of experience helping families of children with medical complexities navigate health care barriers and identify necessary resources. She is married with 2 children. I place my complete faith in God to continue to bless me with progressive knowledge to help families in need and continue to love the work I do daily.
Sharon is a nurse, a mother, grandmother, and wife. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and a few craft projects. God, family, and friends is an important part of her life.
Michelle was born and raised in Texas and graduated with a B.A. from The University of Houston majoring in Economics and a minor in Psychology. Michelle is starting her 20th year as a Senior Executive AV with GlaxoSmithKline in the Biologics division where she helps patients feel better and live longer. Michelle has won countless awards in her career and enjoys mentoring and volunteering in her community in her spare time along with spending time with her husband, son, family, and friends.
Angela has been with the Department of Treasury for over 33 years. I am committed to volunteerism and nonprofit organizations flourishing to create a better society.
Marilyn is a business professional with over 20 years in Human Resources and currently works as a Consultant in Data Analytics with Sullexis, LLC where she has blended her experience to affect positive change within organizations where she works. She holds a Bachelor's in Finance and Management from Houston Baptist University and a Master's in Business Administration from The Texas Woman's University and she is certified as an SPHR-SCP, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. One of Marilyn's passions is volunteering and helping others. She is honored to serve as Board Secretary for Ja’Nyse’s House of Hope.
Joseph Richard is a longshoreman of 30 years where he served on the Executive Board and Contract Committee. He is an ordained minister and serves at The Harvest UMC as an associate pastor. Joseph also enjoys volunteering in his local community. His role with Ja’Nyse’s House of Hope will be to offer spiritual and emotional support to families.
Verianese Richard is the Founder and Executive Director of Ja’Nyse’s House of Hope. She serves on numerous non-profit organizations in her local community. Verianese finds joy in being compassionate, unselfish caring, patient and is just plain loving to others. She serves as a chaplain at The Harvest UMC. Verianese enjoys the time she spends with her husband and children.
Veronica is Vice Pres and Administrative Executive for ELS Life Sciences Technologies, Inc. She has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with over 20 years of professional experience in the financial industry. She is the sole owner of Sweet Moments by V specializing in custom design cakes and specialty desserts.
She is a wife and mother of two, an active member of Chapelwood UMC / The Upperroom Heights community where she serves as the lead on a number of committees. She also volunteers for a number of not for profit charity organizations and foundations in her local community.
